About the event

What is Naucratius?

Naucratius Oklahoma exists to empower hunters and anglers to share their harvest with those in need in their communities, living into Jesus’ call to feed his sheep. That mission is at the heart of this retreat. We’ll be keeping all the fish we catch to host a community fish fry for our unhoused neighbors in downtown Tulsa, sponsored by Christ Church Tulsa at a later date — a tangible way to turn recreation into service and abundance into generosity.

What to expect at this event

The Naucratius team will provide rods, reels, and bait, though participants are welcome to bring their own gear. Our schedule is built around the best fishing times, with early mornings and late afternoons on the water.

Guests will arrive Friday evening, enjoy dinner on their own, and settle into the cabins. The Powell Lounge will serve as our headquarters — a place to gather, relax, and pray together each evening. Saturday will focus on maximizing fishing time alongside shared meals and fellowship. We’ll conclude the retreat Sunday morning with a sunrise worship service on the lake.

Adult registration includes cabin lodging and meals on Saturday and Sunday. For those staying in Oakerhater, both one-night and two-night options are available. Children under 16 attending with an adult are free, and we hope many families will join us for a memorable weekend at St. Crispin’s.
